AMPtalk is a place for the Allied Media Projects network to discuss and organize. It serves as the central hub for planning and managing the annual Allied Media Conference. Each year, we work with conference organizers to develop communication, automation and process tools for their conference-planning workflow. The track and session proposal process takes place fully within the AMPtalk website.
This custom software platform, built on Drupal and node.js, saves time for conference staff while allowing organizers, presenters, board members, and attendees to interact more. It aggregates messaging streams to facilitate conversations among thousands of people, all with different needs and roles, who are involved in the conference. Each year we refine this platform further and add features to make the session proposal, review, and approval process more accessible to contributors from around the country.
